What started as a little girl “playing house” in small-town Illinois has grown into a lifelong love affair with beauty, comfort, and the feeling of home.
Raised by a mama who could stretch a dollar and still fill a space with warmth, music, and heart, I learned early on that a home doesn’t have to be expensive to be extraordinary. It just needs intention—and a little imagination.
After moving to Chicago for college, life took me on quite the tour—coast to coast and house to house.
Each move became a new chapter in my personal design journey: A Colonial in the Northeast. A ranch in Florida. A California beach house. A traditional Chicago walk-up. And my all-time favorite: a 1916 Georgian Revival that taught me the true magic of layering history with heart.
With every renovation, every coat of paint, every bold decision—I refined a style that feels both timeless and fresh. Classic with a wink. Elevated, but never off-limits.
Settled back in the Chicago area, the fall of 2011 took a beautiful turn; one I didn’t expect, yet one that God was designing. In that moment, what I thought might just be a one-time favorfor a new friend quickly turned into my first official client—and just like that, my new labor of love had wings!
Today, I relish in the blessings that this unexpected career has afforded me. I continue to design with heart & soul, sophistication, and a whole lot of intention.
My faith grounds me, my creativity fuels me, and my joy comes from crafting spaces that feel like they’ve always belonged to my clients —even if they just got a facelift.
Because a home should feel like a deep exhale. A warm welcome. A reflection of who you are and who you’re becoming. A place you love to come home to.
